At SAIB securing your personal information when you use our Internet Banking Service is of paramount importance.

To this effect and in line with SAMA regulations which require that Banks implement additional protection for customers using Internet or other self-service channels, we are pleased to introduce to you our two factor authentication service for Internet Banking transactions. 

Mandatory for all financial transactions, this service provides an additional layer of security for completing Internet Banking transactions. In addition to the existing log-in and transaction passwords, for every transaction a one time authorization code is provided. Once used an authorisation code is of no further value as it cannot be re-used to authorise any other transaction. These codes have a very short life and are designed to expire in a few minutes — this protects you in that any unused code quickly becomes unusable! Moreover, each time an authorization code is provided to you, any previously provided code is invalidated even if it has not expired.

Mobile Alert Registration:

Our two factor authentication service is SMS-based and requires you to register for our mobile alerts service. Mobile alerts are free and you can register for the same by visiting any SAIB ATM or Branch. Successful subscription to this service is confirmed instantly by SMS.
